Fadnavis government slammed for tagging Dalits and Adivasi youth as Naxals and Maoists

Maharashtra Police have cracked down on several places in Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur in connection with Bhima-Koregaon violence. They have also made several arrest related to this and found some Naxal-maoist links to it. National spokesperson of Nationalist Congress Party Nawab Malik slammed the Fadnavis government for tagging dalits and adivasi youth as naxals and maoists. Malik had also questioned the Fadnavis government for shielding Sambhaji Bhide and Milind Ekbote.

“The Fadnavis government is shielding the main conspirators of Bhima-Koregaon. They are tagging dalit leaders as maoists and naxals. Everyone is aware that Ekbote was very active in that area and they had called Bhide for the function. Elgar Parish was organised in Pune and incident of violence happened in Vadu and Bhima-Koregaon, which are aprroximately 100km away from this place. Since day one of this incident, government, BJP leaders, RSS leaders were trying hard to convince that left is behind this incident,” said Malik.

Malik also accused Bhide as agent of Sangh and works for them in western Maharashtra. Malik also feels Bhide preaches wrong history of Shivaji to youth and makes them join Sangh. Malik snubs the Fadnavis government for tagging dalit, adivasi as naxals and maoists. Malik says that when Muslim raises his voice he gets tagged as terrorist and when adivasi dalits raise his voice against wrong things they tag them as naxals, maoists. Why such tagging is happening? BJP Youth National president Poonam Mahajan had also tagged adivasi farmers as urban naxals during their protest in Mumbai.
